Spurdie asked for it. Another less usual thing, from the house and used everyday, with us at least.

I know this I know this ::) Cupboard or door handle ??? or loo roll holder ???
-
No!
-
Is it a spring clip jar for preserves???
-
I am with spurdie, my coffee pot has a clasp like that.
-
The Plastic Signet ring goes to Spurdie.
So come on someone else must take daft photos.
-
Remind me of your technique Eric, I tried and got this puny effort, may as well give it shot although I think it is blatantly obvious, but you could all string me along a bit ;D

-
Don't think it is puny at all, nor is it obvious, except to the one who took the picture. You do not seem to need any help from me. I love the way ordinary everyday objects look so different and beautiful in close up and from a different perspective.
-
Breast implant? ;D
-
haha e.j nice one ;D
-
Glass bowl or glass taken from above ???
-
Plastic soda bottle taken from the bottom?

Doris ;D It's the base of a 2ltr plastic bottle of lemonade 8)
Can we have another one please?
-
OK as the winner, I shall see what I can find........................................... Well, this proves my macro on my camera is rubbish! oh and it is hard to find things that you hope won't be too easy to spot.think I have failed in that respect, but it was the only thing that wasn't too blurred! ;D
Whats this?

In keeping with Emma's first suggestion for your first, perhaps a nipple to go with the implant?
-
I looked at it and thought nipple too! But the chest is a bit pale!!
-
A drawing pin?
-
A pen, a ball point pen, from above, looking down on the nib!
Honestly you lot.....had me blushing for all of a nano second! ;D ;D ;D
-
The valve on a pressure cooker pan lid?

My contribution. Something I am using a great deal at the moment! ;D Sorry it isn't terribly sharp...I am with you on the macro score DP! :-\
-
Could it be the side of a garden fork?
SB
-
Got me stumped there Emma :( ???
-
It isn't an outdoor object. ;D
-
Is it the edge of a bowl ???
-
Managed to "get" the cocktail sticks and bulldog clip, but not the pen nib. Have no idea what EJ's object is! Give us a clue, EJ! ???
-
Dammmmm The trouble with my digi camera is that it is rubbish at close up`s without blurring :-[

-
I think I've clawed that one, your clue is in your Avatar? 8)
-
Think wrapping....and I don't mean Eminem ;D ::) ;D
-
hehehe, I love your African Grey Andy. My mum has one and it is a misery! A mistreated baby over 25 years ago and my dad rescued him from a cr*p petshop. He talks the hindlegs of a donkey, and even tho I left home fast approaching 10 years ago, he still calls for me to put the kettle on....my dads most used line I think! ;D
-
My Mother in Law had one, that was a miserable s*d too! Though not as bad as her amazon who used to pick up objects and dive bomb my father in law, his name was...Happy!!!
EJ is that a conger eel??!!!
Wrapping huh? Scissors? Tape dispenser? Ohhh I give up, still reakon its a conger eel! ;D
-
Is it a roll of sellotape, Emma? Bit of a sticky subject anyway!!
-
And the winner is..................................Wicker! Roll of selotape in constant use with the big day approaching. A cuddly carrot is winging its way through cyber space as we speak!
DP, mum fostered an Amazon for a while and she was wonderful, so different to her Grey. The bestest birdie for me tho was mums c*ckatil. Now he was a character and thought he was human! ;D
Next picture please! ;D
-
Really not a true pure close up, but played around with the lighting to get this effect.

-
Showing my age now. Is it one of those 60's ash trays you bang the top of to get rid of the ash. Aaarrgh! :o
-
No smokers in this house!
So no cigar for you!
-
Is it a food processor, Eric???
-
I was going to say food processor too Spurdie! I couldn't live without mine! ;D
-
I used to use mine alot too, Doris, but lately I've taken a liking to my wooden spoon (?!?!). I was mixing up Christmas puddings today and although it would have been quicker with the food processor, I just took my time and stirred my way through it! (quite alot of dates and walnuts were munched on their way to the bowl, but I managed to refrain from slurping the brandy hic!) ;D
-
Close. but no coconut!
-
Is it a chopper thingy (does that sound rude :-[) - not the actual processor but separate ???
-
Peppercorn or coffee grinder, maybe?
Just love the special lighting effects Eric!
-
Bottle opener :-\...or maybe a light socket :-\.........or maybe part of a gas jet on a hob :-\.....oh - I don't know Eric you are clever at getting this effect with your objects :)
-
The goldfish in a bag for Magpie DI. Tis indeed a coffee grinder looking down from above, into the receptacle for the grounds.
-
Another please! ;D
-
I am running out of photos for this.

Sea weed.....or have you been attacking the video tapes??
-
A silver tinsel xmas tree still folded???
My other halves Grey loves ME! He is so cute, sitting there now say "Oh,I`m sorry mate" & "hello mate" & give us a kiss x x x x x weeeeeeeee & thank you & stinky bird!
Western tumbleweed whistle and 1st 2 lines of Daisy & "Scooby good boy" he goes on and on and on. :D
Only 18 months old too...
-
Just gotta try to win a mate for my lonely goldfish!! ;D
Type of animal bedding ? Y'know the stuff..........shredded paper, or cloth, or wood shavings, with a bit of grit in there too !! Maybe ? ::)
-
A metal pan scrunchy :-\
-
So close as to be worthy of a small pink tedy bear, it is an old pan scrubber I use for cleaning labels.
And NOW I have for the moment run out of ideas for this thread, so over to the more imaginitive!
Unless I spot something that is ;D
