Title: Plant identification please
Post by: widgetwilk on May 24, 2010, 19:21:52
Can anyone say what this plant is, it is in a garden in North Norfolk, the owner of the garden says she did not plant it, but it is very beautiful and the flower  appears very quick, the size of the flower head is a bit bigger than a tennis ball.
Thanks for any help.(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/widgetwilk/Odds/cropflower.jpg)

it looks a bit like an agapanthus, but I'm sure someone will be along soon who really knows!  it's a lovely colour.

Is it an over exposed allium?  It could be more purple than it looks?
