Title: Nora chilli seeds
Post by: Tin Shed on April 17, 2010, 18:37:23
Cooking a dish today that needs dried nora red pepper - but I couldn't find any in the shops......so thought I would look on line to see if I could find a supplier so I could grow some for later recipes, but so far have found nothing.
Does anyone know what type of pepper that I am looking for  - and can you point me in the right direction to find some seeds. Brindisa sell the dried peppers so I may have to go down that route.

I'd like some of these myself but cant find online..
Dried may well be the way to go but I am off to Spain in a few weeks- as they are from there I'll see if I can pick any up...long shot!  ;)

Brindisa describe them as sweet and mild.
BarriedaleNick - would be interested if you can find any in Spain - if not perhaps we can get the dried and share the seeds around.

Sounds good.
Let me know if you had any luck when you return. If not I will send the OH off to Borough market to Brindisa to get some dried ones.
