Title: where to buy wire mesh?

I think I'm going to have to protect at least some of my crops fromrabbits this year.Can anyone tell me a good (cheap) place to buy the right kind of wire mesh, please?

If you look under Kept Animals, and under galvanised wire you will find Peasticks recommending

Usually your local fencing contactor is the best bet.

They have more choice and there is always a chance of getting 'roll ends'!

I saw some in Wilkinsons the other day, didnt really take note of the price or anything tho sry.

I found the best place for cheap mesh was Asda - strange but true

Last year it was 7.99 for a 20m roll

What about your local freecycle.   Go on line to find it.    You usually have to offer something first.   I have had water butts, slabs, a shed,  as well as children's bikes.   Just a thought.
