I think I'm going to have to protect at least some of my crops fromrabbits this year. Can anyone tell me a good (cheap) place to buy the right kind of wire mesh, please?

If you look under Kept Animals, and under galvanised wire you will find Peasticks recommending
www.hillsofdevon.co.uk/netting.html
and twave suggests screwfix
Hope that is of some use.

Usually your local fencing contactor is the best bet.
They have more choice and there is always a chance of getting 'roll ends'!

I saw some in Wilkinsons the other day, didnt really take note of the price or anything tho sry.

Thanks, will have a shop around.

What about your local freecycle. Go on line to find it. You usually have to offer something first. I have had water butts, slabs, a shed, as well as children's bikes. Just a thought.
