Post by: reddyreddy on October 08, 2009, 09:35:38
help, I know nothing about flowers... am going to remove my geraniums this weekend and replant all my boxes with winter flowers (all holly berry red) so would like to know will cyclamen last the winter or should I stick with pansies?  ???

Cyclamen won't flower through the winter if that's what you mean, but any hardy species will carry its foliage all the way through.

Self-sown?

I took the easy route and bought some from Fothergills.

I also bought 150 mini plug violas for £5 and they are looking lovely at present. In fact, I've got too many!
