Title: Vote Now: View from the back door

Voting starts today and will finish next Friday because that's when I get back off my holidays :)  Good luck to all those that entered :D  I'll check back before I leave just to make sure there's no glitches!

Thanks for the votes.
It gives me a lot of pleasure to feed the birds and to observe how many appear each day. It costs a fortune but it is worth it. For several months there were as many as 120 Siskins feeding at the same time, plus about 25 Goldfinches. Most days in the winter months there would be 25 different species but even during the summer there have been 13 species.

Suggestion for a photo category. Not particularly original.

We have had a view from the back door, what about 'view from the bottom of the garden'

or as it is autumn

' autumn fruits and/or berries'

I have been offline so have only just seen your amazing photo. I love it.
Did you know THE RANGE do a very. v large sack of wild bird food for £10-99 looks very good value indeed, any help.

Thanks Rosebud. I know the Range, one not too far away. Unfortunately many of the wild bird seed mixtures contain wheat. Unless there are lots of pigeons feeding then most of it grows. I now buy Robinsons mix without wheat. A bit more expensive but now no wheat growing in the lawn and lots of small birds coming down to feed on the smaller seeds.
I had a Sparrow Hawk walking about by my feeders today. It stayed for about 10 mins and they really are magnificent birds.
