but they have been eaten by something??? they were buffalo F1's and i was hoping to have a nice little crop for next year! They have been eaten right down but the thing is they were only about half a milimeter thick and a bout 4cm tall? does anyone know if i can sown more or is it way too late?

Think it was Bob that said on GQT about the Buffalo variety being a favourite for slugs ..
You are probably on the very late side for planting, but maybe you could sow a few in modules and plant out next spring? Think they need to reach a certain size and strength to overwinter....
