Ok as some of you may have noticed i've been away ( hears a load of cheers) due to other commitments.
Anyway i've grown some kohl rabi and haven't got a clue ( as always) when to harvest them ( what size) and how to cook them?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
So any suggestions (clean ones please) on both issues would be very helpful.

You can take silly pictures of it or slice in 4m thick bits and boil. Then eat ;)

Use like a spud or turnip. Bake them, boil them and mash them, chip them and deep fry them, roast them, grate them raw into coleslaw! Delish.

But use them before they get bigger than a tennis ball.

Ha! Fat chance. Mine were decimated by slugs/pigeons (might be pigeons) before they got over 6 inches high. :(
Anyone know where I can buy an allotment-sized piece of netting?

As our chinese way. Skinned it then sliced it very thin then slightly boiled then stir fried it with just added garlic & soya sauce or oyster sauce.
Or if you like added some chicken with it.
