Title: Banning cats
Post by: Weedfiend on July 12, 2009, 10:50:19
A local black cat is killing my garden bird visitors and fouling in my garden. Has anyone got a reasonably non-fatal process for keeping the cats away from my bird visitors?

There are passive deterrents , but I prefer the active kind. This one is foolproof, and has a considerable reputation among our local cat population.

My garden is virtually cat-free.  :)

After 2 years of having 4 of the neighbourhood cats foul in my veg plots in my garden I gave in and got my own Tom Cat.  Amazingly they have never done it since lol.

We once had a spaniel/labrador cross who loved chasing cats until one turned round and hissed at him. He stuck his tail straight in its groove, and ran back indoors. That one looks as though it might be more effective though!
