Title: Allotments for Dyce, Aberdeen
Post by: caramacdonald on July 09, 2009, 12:54:27
Hi-I'm trying to drum up support for some allotments to be provided by the Dyce Sports and Leisure Trust in their 17 acres between Pitmedden Road and Union Row in Dyce.  I'm looking for some advice and perhaps details of any contacts that would be able to help me with this campaign as I'm very new to this but also very keen to get this project off the ground.  Initially they are looking for interested parties to complete the residents survey stating they are in favour of allotments at www.dycesports.com so if you know of anyone on waiting lists etc. if you would be so kind as to spread the word for me.

Welcome to A4A cara!

Contact the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners at:

www.nsalg.org.uk (http://www.nsalg.org.uk)

They help people/groups set up allotments so have been there/done that etc.

Good luck!

There's also the Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society (http://www.sags.org.uk/).
