Title: What's left to sow/plant?
Post by: carbonel11 on June 22, 2009, 14:55:29: Finished off my last sowings of winter brassicas today,savoy cabbage, kohl rabi and swede.

Squash, pumpkin, courgette and cucumber are in as is black kale and psb.

Have I forgotten anything or is it just weeding watering and harvesting until autumn when the broad beans and winter onions go in ?

Know the spuds are coming up might have a bit of space thinking of a last sowing of peas and more carrots ? already got plenty of lettuce and radish.

Post by: 1066 on June 22, 2009, 15:29:30: it depends what you like to eat really. I've just pulled most of my garlic and plan to use that space for oriental veg, then I'm also going to sow some more fennel, and chard

Post by: manicscousers on June 22, 2009, 17:02:32: carrots and dwarf french beans are going in next, also put in some ishikura onions, we've been pulling them young as spring onions. leek plants have been planted in the early spud bed plus we've got some pea plants ready to go in..planted out some small cabbage, calabrese and sprout plants , sowed kohl rabi and swede yesterday :)
