This is my first year with a greenhouse and was wondering where I should place the fly traps!
Do I put one above each tomato plant ?? or do I place them high up ? How many should I use ?
I have a 6x8 greenhouse.

IF you use them - just above the growing tips - & keep raising them.
I've given up - find they get as many Hoverflies as other things.
And don't cope with a pest onslaught.
-
Don`t use them-as Tim suggests they trap beneficial beasties as well

Thanks Tim and Cleo :)

I use them in the greenhouseand in the house to catch the pesky sciarid flies. Haven't caught anything else yet this year.
-
I used them once but kept geting stuck to them myself......Im bald now! ;) ;D
-
we use them for fruit flies in the house, later in the year. While harvesting our fruit, we seem to get loads of them, particulary if we get a couple of damaged plums or apples
-
:) I don't use them, they catch too many goodies/ shades x
-
I'm with angle shades. They cannot differentiate between whitefly, greenfly and hoverflies and bees.
Would never use them.
