Post by: springbok on May 14, 2009, 18:15:46
Splitting my primulas, moving them to new growing site and I am sure I read somewhere that they love manure in the soil.

Is this true :)  My memory is going at 39!!! lol.

What sort of primula are they?  There are several different kinds and cultivation requirements vary, although most of them like well-drained humus-rich soil.

In that case, a bit of manure could help.  They like a rich, moist, acid to neutral soil (and partial shade).  :)
