Title: Too Late to sow?

Is it too late to sow to start a few seedlings off :)

Long time no see! ;D

Depends what you want to grow.....it's too early for some things like sweetcorn for me in the Midlands! Most stuff will catch up in the warmer weather, I'd go for it.

hi Deb :)

Not been anywhere, still come on the site :)

I was wondering if its too late to sow a few more chilli plants, sorry should of been more specific.

I still have not sown a thing for the garden/veg patches , I am being good LOL.. last year learnt my lesson sowing too early.

Chillies like a long growing season, so most people start them off in Feb or even January. If you have somewhere to overwinter them though, you could sow them now and if they haven't grown to fruiting size by the end of the season, overwinter them indoors and you will have a headstart on next year! ;D

I sowed some in may last year after frost liied most of mine, I had quite a few chillies but not a great many! I think you should be ok sowing now.
