HI

CAN ANYBODY HELP THIS CONFUSED, NEW LOTTIE OWNER?   I WANT TO BE AS ORGANIC AS POSSIBLE AND HAVE HEARD THAT PLANTING MARIGOLDS WILL ATTRACT THE INSECTS AWAY FROM MY SEEDLINGS.

ANYBODY OUT THERE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS PLEASE?

Hi Anaxi,

Yes, marigolds are renowed as a companion plant for tomatoes as they help deter white fly -not sure if this is because they are drawn to the marigolds or the marigolds deter them from the whole vicinity. Only certain types of marigold though.

I can vouch for the Marigolds keeping the white fly off of Tomatoes I plant  one next to every other Tomato in my Greenhouse and it does work.
