Title: Young Driver Car Insurance
Post by: Admin aka Dan on September 01, 2004, 11:23:00
Hi,

I'm looking for some cheap car insurance quotes for a young driver - though I'd ask to see if anyone had any recommendations.

Cheers

Dan

morning Dan,
i've been with the same firm since i got my first car at 18. i''ve always driven a saab and found most firms were extremely expensive for a young driver/powerful car combination. the firm is hill house hammond, and they were my last phonecall after loads of ringing round, they came out about £400 (really) cheaper than the nearest other.

Try Swinton-Colonade they have always been very good with me and my brother who owns a cosworth - he bought that when he was 23 and Swinton-Colonade gave him the best quote.

My daughter Laura (21) is insured with Admiral - they were the cheapest around for her needs.

If it's for a girl Dan and it's her first car have you thought of Diamond? That's where Laura got hers when she first passed her test at 17 - they're geared (no pun intended) for female drivers and give reasonable rates.

Eileen.
