Title: Wheat yeild for one loaf .
Post by: thegreatgardener on January 08, 2009, 15:56:30
the amount I am expect is needed 1 lb-1.5 of flour per loaf.

And 8 wheat plants per foot is normal spacing for the variety I plan on growing..
I am also expecting an average yield of 4.6 pounds of thresh per 100 square feet.

As for white or wheat bread I settle for either.
Given the previous info from other thread.
The question is how much of the 4.6 lbs will be usable flour.
Hope this helps.
