Hello Straush, if youre going to worry then so am I ours are about the same.  Though the broad beans are up nicely set at the same time. I am sure ours were the same last year and we ended up with some onions weighing nearly 2lb each.

Most of the growth will be underground at the moment. The purpose of planting in Oct/Nov is to establish strong root systems rather than large plants. Plants will take advantage of any warmer spells and emerge when they are ready.

Mine are in the greenhouse and no sign of growth yet. Planted 1st week in Nov when should they be ready?
