The Lates - Musselburgh etc - are coming in much before the Earlies.

Oooh Tim, what is that and pleeease can we have the recipe.  I think you should always automatically post the recipes, you have such wonderful food!

My Musselburgh are much more forward this year than normal but I didn't plant any earlies to compare with.  I am amazed by them.

Thanks so much Tim, I had been looking back through the postings but hadn't got that far yet.  I shall be making it for my hungry hoards this weekend.  I usually make vegetarian soups as I have one in my house but the boys have been asking for a meaty one and this would be perfect as I have so many leeks.

Do you know I thought I must have got muddled because I was looking at mine and the ones I thought were Musselborough are much further ahead than the earlier variety...I thought maybe i'd put them the wrong way round too.
