The Lates - Musselburgh etc - are coming in much before the Earlies.

Nice! But strange year?

You sure you didn't get the tags the wrong way round Tim?

When were they planted Tim, and which earlies are you growing?
Fine looking leek you have there btw!....before and after..

Oooh Tim, what is that and pleeease can we have the recipe. I think you should always automatically post the recipes, you have such wonderful food!
My Musselburgh are much more forward this year than normal but I didn't plant any earlies to compare with. I am amazed by them.

Thanks so much Tim, I had been looking back through the postings but hadn't got that far yet. I shall be making it for my hungry hoards this weekend. I usually make vegetarian soups as I have one in my house but the boys have been asking for a meaty one and this would be perfect as I have so many leeks.
Thank you. :)

Do you know I thought I must have got muddled because I was looking at mine and the ones I thought were Musselborough are much further ahead than the earlier variety...I thought maybe i'd put them the wrong way round too.
