I`ve noticed on this Forum, that different Members have different titles, ie.. Senior Member, Newbie, Full Member etc. Anyone advise what all this means and how each is attained ?

?? 50 JM, 100 FM, 250 SM, 500 God/Goddess. Then sub-administrator etc??
It all boils down to being retired, gross misuse of the office machine/under-employment, or not going to bed until 1.30am?? = Tim

This is an interesting point,a site I use a lot is worrying about `post counts` on the grounds that they intimidate new members-any views?
For me I think it is just a fun thing and anyway a cat can look at a king afterall-or a quean ;D

Have to admit I do not look at how many posts I have made, especially as it is usually waffle and not advice on my part!! It has never worried me as there are many out there with vaster amounts of knowledge who only post occasionaly.so no I do not find it intimidating ;D

well, when I hit 500 (and some days, peeps, I really, really really feel I have :o) it's back to Ground Zero for me...stops me feeling guilty about the time I spend here rather than doing 'meaningful things' in the neighbourhood, like making and delivering bowls of gruel or calves-foot jelly to Poor Peeps, an that.. :D

Well, personally, it doesn't mean anything to me. After all, everyone posts for such a variety of reasons, reaction to something appropriate to them, because they feel they have something to say, because they want to respond to a board friend or whatever! If they feel quiet, they read and digest but maybe are not in the mood to respond! Like age, it's just a number and, at the end of the day, means little.

I agree muddy and BB, I reakon maybe.....ummmm....3 of my posts are lottie related advice, the rest is gossip and chit chat! ;D And I can chit and chat!! ::) Roll on spring, then I can start bothering you all with loads and loads of questions!

Looking back, I do agree with the points so well made - I would never regard this as a 501 match in darts - where you strive for the treble 20s, get there and give nothing in return.
My only objection was the beeb taking away from me something that I had accrued like air miles - worthless, but mine!!
Like others on this board, I had to be told when I passed the 200 mark, or something. = Tim

Well, as a (very) newbie, I don't find the tag intimidating, I assume that people might (rightly) assume that I don't know very much yet, and will take pity on me.....
(Actually, I have been reading and posting on the Beeb for a little while, and couldn't work out where you had all gone until a few days ago!!!).
