Excellent Tony :D - what weight of rasps do you use per gallon, and  do you drink it 'neat' or mix with anything else ?

Got some of that cheap 20% 'vodka-ish' stuff and put a pound of raspberries and half a pound of sugar with it.

a week later liquidised the lot and mixed with a pint of whipped cream

I don't know if it keeps because I did not get the chance to find out.

4lb of fruit 3 lb of sugar per gal. I soaked the fruit for a week with pectolase to extract flavour (daily stir and mash up) then strained and added sugar, yeast and nutrient. ;)
 S.G. indicates potential 16% alc
First time making this, so can't answer 2nd part of question!

Tony - might be worth mixing some with something 'thinner' (redcurrant seems to work), as in our experience rasp can be a bit...erm..........'robust' on its own ;D
