Of course!  ;D

2 bags of frozen cranberries
4/5 large oranges peeled and segmented
8oz sugar (maybe more needed later as cranberries are VERY sour)
Alcohol of choice (brandy, gin or vodka would be nice)
1 gallon water bottle (empty) or 4 pint milk cartons

Peel and segment the oranges, making sure you remove any white pith. Grate the orange skin to get the oil. Place the orange segments in the freezer for 2 days then defrost both cranberries and oranges.

Empty water bottle then fill it with the fruit, sugar and booze of choice (if using brandy you can use half light brown sugar for a more caramel taste). The resultant liquid MUST cover the fruit.

Put the lid of the bottle back on and shake vigorously. Store in a cool dark place (garage, shed?) and shake everyday for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks taste the liqueur to see if it needs more sugar, if so add a little at a time until it is the required sweetness. Then shake 1 per week for 1 month.

Leave the liqueur to mature until Christmas then drain fruit off (freeze fruit for adult ice cream topping, pancakes or sponge puds).
Bottle the liqueur as required for gifts and to look good. You can however leave it in the water/milk bottle and serve from there.

Serve over ice with a floating cream topping and drinks sparkler as its Christmas. :-*

Enjoy!  ;D ;)
