Title: Good looking easy veg
Post by: Nemesia on August 24, 2008, 18:36:51
What would you say is an easy to grow but attractive vegetable.
At the moment I am in competitive mode after our show yesterday.
I seem to remember courgettes and standard peppers were quite easy but I want something bigger.

Jerusalem artichoke are easy to grow and attractice above the ground when they flower, but I wouldn't say the tubers are attractive!
What about globe artichokes?

I like the sound of the Globe Artichoke so will have a look at that and Rainbow Chard.  Davy, you didn't suggest any tasty easy to grow veg but thanks to all for suggestions.  Very soon I will have forgotten all about the show except for the fact that there was a really lovely plant and I can't find out what it is. And, my daughter had borrowed my digital camera - drat!
