Title: Heater size
Post by: ninnyscrops on July 14, 2008, 18:33:07
Picked this heater up this evening on Freecycle.  Is it ok for my 8' x 10' greenhouse.  The chap said all he knows about it is that it has two wicks.  ???

Ah! the old 'two wicks' technical terminology!! ;D ;D
This is more than adequate for your greenhouse, might only need to run 1 wick! ;)

I've one quite similiar to that it costs a bl**dy fortune to run overnight. Paraffins not cheap anymore almost a fiver a gallon.

Thinking...........deep fat frying oil now, maybe go the bio-fuel route , well it is vegetable oil after all!  ;D

Think it might work - noooooo can see me blowing the heater up and the greenhouse with it  :o

Thanks for you help, really wanted to check the size and seems about right for what I need.  :)
