Title: any advice on what to grow at this time of year

I'm really new to all this.green house blew over and seedlings scattered.lol.saved a few.can anyone give me advice on what i could grow at this time of year.IE food wise or plant wise jasmine

Hi Jasmine :)
You can sow salad crops, peas, french beans maybe runner beans (if you are quick). You could also try your local garden centre for brassica plants.

we're sowing, carrots, french beans, as debjay says, peas, salady stuff, turnips, swede, kohl rabi,outdoor toms are just being planted, and brassicas of all descriptions, lots of places selling plants  :)

if its for a greenhouse, you can go to your garden centre and buy some tomato and cucumber plants and you should get a crop if your quick

Good advice there... I actually sowed some Courgettes in August last year, under glass and got a crop (and a lot of mildew!) the Variety was called Romanesco...
