Title: Tomato plants all curled up
Post by: theamatteurgardener on May 26, 2008, 20:04:13
Hi every one. I think i maybe underwatering my tomato plants as they look like they're a bit wilty. Thought i'd best check with you guys though before i drown them! Or is it normal for the leaves to curl up as shown below? They're about 12inches tall now so i'm putting them in growbags in an outdoor greenhouse later this week. Thanks all!

Tomato plants do not like a temp drop below 15

I've closed the big thick curtains behind them! Probably below 15 in that room :-[

Does that mean i'll need a heated in the greenhosue when i move them outside? It probably wont be a glass one.

No ,they will survive but they can get set back below 15.As said the pots are now small, they need potting on and they like lots of water.Make sure they are protected from glaring sun,If they were in a glasshouse you would need to consider shading and ventilation.

I do not think you have anything to worry about, they look OK :)
