What type Tim? I usually grow 3 kinds of spring cabbage  ..Spring hero, Flowers of spring and April..  First two have grown well but some of the April have run to seed as they did last year...

Mine ran to seed too which is most unusual.. thought it was just the confusing weather...

My PSB hassuddenly gone to seed this week- is it the "usual" time of year for this?

1. Not 'gone to seed' - but reconstituted from cut Cabbages - as shown earlier with Savoys.

2. PSB? All depends on when sown, conditions, variety - ours is just in fulll flow. See Claret.

Have to admit, it is getting a bit less tender and thinner about now.

The asparagus is up and the hard cut back last autumn spinach beet is leafing well. Spring cabbage and winter cauliflowers instead from now on eh?

Salad leaves in about another week I estimate.
