Title: please ID this plant? Is it a Lavender?

Hmmmm the flowers look similar to butterfly lavender, but the leaves certainly dont.

It's Lavandula pinnata, from New Zealand I think. Absolutely lovely, but will get killed by the first frost. Maybe it overwinters OK frost-free but I haven't tried

 I thought their flowers look like it but leaves not!
