Title: Allotments in North Wales
Post by: vinotinto on March 10, 2008, 18:40:18
Hi there, we live just outside Bangor.  Despite asking the council for allotments they only provided two locations but neither have any spaces.  Are there any others in our area that we can try?

Thanks!!!

have a look at the council website, there is a list of allotments there, but im not sure if any are close enought to you,did the 2 sites youve already contacted not put you on a waiting list, this is standard practise really.we were told we would have to wait for 3 years, but in fact it was just over a year,so dont be put off, good luck and i hope you get one soon!
regards rach x

Thanks all for you answers - nice to meet you too manicscousers!

Elvis 2003 thanks - where did you find that - I've trawled the site for info!!!  Yes the two sites put us on their waiting lists, but when I've enquired directly with the council they've only provided information about these.

Bluebird - thanks Anglesey maybe an option depending on location
