Title: alternative propagator

this is made from an old security light, we were given about 4 from a security firm, Ray stripped out the light and fittings, brilliant for starting seeds off in, anyone else use unusual things ?

I've saved the clear plastic box from some croissants we got this week. Not very strong, but should do one season at least.

Planning on using the clear plastic boxes you get the washing tablets in.  I seem to accumulate them!

I use a 5ft long clear cover from an outdoor striplight as a cloche for peas and carrots

not a cold frame but the clear plastic cream and yoghurt holders from supermarkets carry about 12 small / medium plant pots

We've got a daughter that loves her Cadburys (funny I've never written that word before and I had to check the spelling, we picked up ten in Tesco's  last night so plenty of examples ) easter eggs, the plastic cover is a really good propagator and easy to pop out the entire amount to pot on
