It went out to 10 last time and came back fairly quickly - so happy to take it up to 15. Just need to make it gets to the last person on the list so they can sow what they take from the packet.

On looking at the packet there are already 17 different flower types as well as the veg. I have lots of flowers so will add a few more as well..

The parcel is ready for sending - I have added a few more seeds in "sampler" size packets.
The rules are included in the packet - but very straightforward. Basically take what you want to try, replace it with a similar amount, something that you think others may find interesting is good. And post it on. Keep everyone informed of how its doing by posting on this thread.
The list below is the order in which the parcel will be sent round. Its coming up to Easter and school holidays so if anyone is away when its their turn - you can let me know (pm) and I'll ask the holder to skip you on the list.
There are now about 100 packets in the parcel with a good number of flowers.

Hi All,
Had great fun having a rummage! it arrived yesterday and I had to wait up for oh to get home to have a sort through at 1am!! Its gone straight off again in the post to a well armed insect! ;D

Came his morning thank-you, some lovely things inside the package and i loved the letter and comments page! really well organised, me and mum have just be looking through for two hours!! and it has helped pass the time away for her at such a difficult time, she was amazed at the swap!! and i feel i can learn alot about being a seed swap host! WooHooo I think it might be me now. ;D ;D It will be great as I have been getting withdrawal symptoms, I haven't done much outside at all with the winds howling. The greenhouse was really rocking but not in the good way so I didn't stay in for long and then this site was down. :'( Here's hoping and I promise a quick turn around to the next one.

Staying just outside of Killkenny in an old Abbey, or part of its buildings converted. Booked with Hoseasons.. Very excited, never been to Ireland. Sorry no room in suitcase, had to pack my teabags!!!! You just never know if tea is the same!!!!! Yorkshire teabags go in before makeup! Even though I'm from Lancashire!!!!
Not sure if I'll be able to check email for a week so have fun with the seeds!!!!!

Quick update - parcel is with CaseyLee and will be on its way shortly - however likely to a slight delay due to Easter. Also bearing in mind Twirlies vacation will alter the list slightly. :)

Its off to a place whose name derived from a 'dirty or muddy' or soily hill which was given by passers-by at the time. The parish church was built on a hill of stiff red marl, which turned to sticky mud in wet weather.
Hope that is an easy clue :D

The receipt I've got from the post office has 30, SY** on it. It was posted on Tuesday, 2nd class, but it should have got there by now.

Hadn't thought of that. They have been pm'd which will go to the registered email address. Also the address of the person they need to send onto is in the parcel anyway - so even if they had lost their computer they would know where to post it to if they had received it.
I also have the name and address and wondered whether I should give them a phine call - do you think this is an okay thing to do ???

I'm so pleased for you all. I had such fun when it arrived it would be very sad if it had got lost. Several of my seeds are now up but there's plenty of time for "catch up" at this time of year.

Thank goodness its moving again. It was my first seed swap and I was concerned that it had disappeared after me. I sprinkled a few seeds before it was posted and most of them are now up!

I must say I find the redelivery service a bit hit and miss. I once had an afternoon off for a redelivery of a parcel - it didn't get redelivered and they said having an appointment was no guarantee of delivery and to rebook. Customer service is of course of the highest priority :-\

I posted the parcel on 02/05 it might not have got to Alipally until tuesday with the bank holiday. I have got proof of posting in case it hasn't arrived :-\

Thanks Debjay. Actually I am thinking of doing a "three sisters plus tom" swap next Feb to include, as would be expected; squash, corn and beans, plus tomatoes. Then my Boxing Day seed fest from USA could have a bit of a point to it. Import the things everyone would like and I could share.

This has now arrived back home. As you have all been so generous and put some really exciting seeds in the parcel i am going to take a few pinches out and the residue then goes to Mind, Body and Soil. Thanks for taking part. I will look to run a swap next year and have already decided the theme:

Thankyou so much for the seed parcel - it was fantastic. I only received it a week or so ago, and haven't had chance to say a massive thankyou to all who took part! My group had a great time digging their way through the contents, seeing all the great things we will now be able to grow thanks to the wonderful efforts of you guys. Thanks again.
Tomslottie is setting up a website for us, where I will be able to post our puics etc, so will post the links so you can all come and have a nosy at what we are doing.
