... and that is against Ebay rules, they don't allow that. It sounds odd to me, maybe it is ok but I wouldn't touch it!

The 'seller' has a high rating and appears to have sold hundreds of items on e-bay. It could be that it's on his own private land and he is taking advantage of the nationwide shortage of allotments. Our £5.50 subs + £2 into the kitty for 80 metres by 10 looks to be rather good value compared to those however.

Ssssssh  :-X Don't tell the Manics or they will be getting one for their summer holidays  ;D
It has to be a private landowner cashing in on the shortage  ::)

Now that is interesting! I wonder which of their many rules that was breaking?

Didn't see the advert, but it might have been breaking the allotment rules - one of our members just got booted out for subletting.

It was breaking the rule about selling outside of e bay, by posting and then saying don't bid it was bypassing  e bay and not having to pay sellers fees, therefore selling outside.

I e mailed the seller who answered me saying " it is new agriculture grass land and they are getting 2 new tenants a week, she did  not answer re, how large, how many already on, any facilities etc which I also asked, and she left a phone number.

I will hold my hand up and say I reported it shortly before I left the message about   "against the rules, keep an eye on it. "E bay are pretty good at removing things that break their rules and in this case they acted promptly. The seller seems to have a good feedback but this was not on, basically the seller was blatantly using E bay to advertise for free.
