Thats a really useful link, I just need to get some concrete reinforcing stuff now from somewhere.

Thanks for the link... seems it's NOT my lucky day. I have clicked to upgrade and clicked the terms and conditions, close all open *windows* and it just won't work. Never mind.  :'(

That's a great idea, will have to show OH. (No, he's not very handy at making things, but works in demolition, so is great at finding all sorts of "rubbish" for me on site  ;D You wouldn't believe the things they chuck away!)

Oh, Lucky you!  My hubby grits his teeth whenever I mention rebar and used window frames! :D  One of my best finds was a broken leg chair. I sawed off the other 3 legs to make a low chair that is just the right height for comfortably weeding part of the garden.
