Should the leaves of Agapanthos be cut back in the winter?

They are providing protection from frost for the bulbs.  I would leave it for a month-six weeks, ie when the frosts are less severe.

Thanks valmarg. My neighbour came in to ask me. I said I didn't know but I knew a man/woman who does. She now knows what we all know, A4A is the best!!

Thanks nippie, I really appreciated your reply.

Some people just have to have the most perfect tidy gardens, but they may be losing plants as a result, and losing out on the wildlife.
