Title: Wierd happenings - Have to share this.
Post by: springbok on January 16, 2008, 18:05:51
Being really proud of my new sofas I got on freecycle, I took a photo to send to my mom in an email.
Was gobsmacked when I loaded it to my pc.  It was covered in white globes.  The second picture taken straight after only had one globe on it.

Well being investigative I zoomed into each globe to see what they were.  Most of them are CATS!!.. I hate cats (sorry to those who love them).  My friends think I should get a cat now!!

Thinking I was going totally mad and seeing things, I went to fetch my neighbour who is an undertaker and doesnt believe in paranormal etc.. and he could see them too.

One of the globes is a face of a young boy, as clear as day!!... Spooky stuff this.

Anyone experienced similar?  Or am I going totally bonkers :)

sorry can't see them. You don't suffer from catalepsy do you? Btw the big white fluffy things are probably Cushions...

Do you see these images without the camera.

It might be the camera that's Baaaaaaaa-rmy!

What happens when you take pictures of other things ?

Can't see them either, but maybe they were visible after a few too many of one of those recipes found in the forum.
I would suggest wiping your camera lens and see if they are still there.

wipe the lens, one of them is half on the sofa and half on the carpet plus two on the carpet as well , was it raining, they may be reflections from the raindrops on the windows XX Jeannine

I'd say its on the lens.

I don't think it will be reflections because the curtains are closed.

Well somebodys got say it. It is DUST! floating in the air, that is how it shows up on digital photos.

I had some photos taken of our band in a barn and they all came out like that.

See if thay have a vacuum cleaner on freecycle. ;D

There have been a lot of discussions about these 'blobs'. They have been given the name of 'orbs', many people think that they have something to do with the paranormal.

They occur only with a digital camera and it seems as if up until now nobody has been able to explain what they are.

The paranormalists actually declare them to be out-of-body-entities.

I'll leave the rest to you!

They could have come with sofa...or they are already residents and are just checking out the new furniture.

Zoomed in SBG, I tried very hard to see a cat but only saw a jelly fish lookalike.
Nice settee though. ;)

Could they be specks of dust or moisture picking up a reflection of the picture of the lion?

Well SBG,

Even at the risk of getting as thrashed as you for posting your pic, I do believe that there could well be something in the orb theory. If you see anything in the orbs, then thats what you see. Not everyone will 'see' the same thing.

As for digi photo's, yes I understand these show up bits of dust and moisture, I have a pic of my family with a 110 camera....and there was indeed a very bright orb on one of my daughters faces.
Its strange that this pic was taken on my mothers 80th birthday with every member of our family....except my son who died 9 years before.

There is no indication of any features or suggestions of what may be in it, its just very bright. It does make me quite sad and strangely comforted when I see it, but lets face it. It could be me....still not wanting to say goodbye.

And guess what, I dont care if anyone thinks Im a crank. Believe what you want to believe SBL they cant hang you for it any more! xx
