Title: Norfolk Greenhouse
Post by: Mammoth Onion on January 14, 2008, 09:10:49: Looking at investing in one as they seem very reasonably priced in the Sunday papers! Are they too good to be true or does the 5yr. guarantee ring true?

Cant seem to decide either-each time think I'll go for a GH but next time I feel should go for a PT-saw a good one in gardennews-uk.com website (based in Cornwall)-wanted someone who could help with installation.Have you decided which PT you going in for??

My Norfolk greenhouse took direct hits from gales both New Year 2007 & 2008. It is now due to become a shade house (with missing sheets of plastic being replaced by debris netting). In my experience they do not stand up well to gales.

I didn't realised I had a 5 year guarantee on it, maybe I'll phone them.

In hind sight, unless I was living in a mill pond, I wouldn't go there again.

Oh and the roof stays on !

Post by: sally james on July 03, 2009, 15:54:12: Very good value, I've just got rid of my norfolk greenhouse that withstood the hurricane in the 80's, although a bit wonky, still very good as a greenhouse, only got rid of it as I had a polytunnel built.
When I got the greenhouse my Uncle and Aunt gave it to me. At the price they charge you can not go wrong, enjoy when you decide.
