Hello all,
I have not been on this site for a few months as i have been waiting for a new plot on my local site (Buntingford in Herts) after having had one a bit too far away to look after properly which was also made of a substance as yet undiscovered by science but much harder than granite.(It broke a hired rotavator).
I got the good news this week and had a look last night in the pouring rain. It is covered in brambles and has a couple of hefty tree stumps in it but it is 1 and a half plots so i can do it a bit a time.
There are a lot of rabbitts/hares on the site and most other plots have chicken wire at varying heights. Does anyone know how high these little critters can jump?

hiya, paul, nice to meet you, congrats on the new plot..sorry I can't help with the rabbit question, there'll be someone along who will know the answer soon ;D

Congratulations Paul :D
Its not how high they can jump but how deep they can dig !!!!!
-
yes how deep they dig, i buried base of my chicken wire round my half plot,
since i have had it, every time i find stones or broken bricks i have been putting them round the base as and when.

so bury it deep and build it high then :o
