Title: hi everyone
Post by: new potatoe on November 12, 2007, 05:28:17
Hi Everyone hope this is the right place to post this.

Thank you all for this website ... "It's wonderful" ....

I am completely new to growing .. but i am looking forward to the task.

Many years ago i said to myself .. that i would love to try and grow
my own veg and fruit .. but never seemed to find the time to do it.

"Wait for it" .........................

on November the 1st 2007 i received the keys to my first plot
"I felt so proud"

it's a full plot .. i have not measured it yet but i am sure it will be
big enough for all my needs.

After getting over the excitement ... it dawned on me that i know next to nothing
about growing .... and that's were you all come in ...
i found your wonderful website ...

I have lots to learn  ??? but i know from the forum how wonderful
you all are and am sure i am in the right company.

Thank you,

James. :)

You certainly are in the right company! Hello & welcome.

You'll learn lots here. I have, and I've been growing veggies most of my life. There's always somebody who can help you, no matter what the question.

Get stuck in and start clearing & digging. Have fun!

Hi James and welcome from me.
The first step to success was finding and joining this forum.
NO question (I have found) is a *Silly/stupid question* so fire away.
Good luck and congratulations on getting the keys to your new way of life  ;D
Have fun planning and digging. The more you dig now the less you will have to dig in the spring when you will be ready to plant and sow.
