Wonder how he did it with all the rain that we had ???

I am not impressed with growing the largest.
I want to grow the best vegetables and fruit for eating and they have not invented a way of recording how things taste for posterity.
(inventors please note).
Growers can be misled by thinking that huge produce is best.

It's still impresive and a bit of fun though, like the tallest Sunflower... there are a lot better squash and pumpkin varieties for eating, but we still grow a couple of bigger ones for the infant school and children's wards for Halloween.
;D

He grew it in a polytunnel, which must have made quite a difference.
