Title: Bulb id?

Not my picture so best I can do. This is annoying cos I have seen it before and am blowed if I can recall the name.TIA

My wife purchased one at a village plant sale, it was labeled 'shaving brush plant'. I have never had it out of the pot, but I did not think it was a bulb.
