Went to Argos and picked up 2 cold frames from £12.99 to £6.49 went to pay and they came up at £4.49 Bargain even if they only last a year.

That's great - even if the cover doesn't last, the frame will!

Last year I used one of those cheap flimsy plastic under-the-bed zip-up storage things as a cold frame for my sweet peas in toilet rolls, but I had to reinforce the sides to keep it rigid.
