Amathyst.  I am picking them fast and furiously now.  They do go greenish when lightly cooked, but do stay darker than other varieties of purple beans.

Very impressive EJ. I'm on my third sowing of Blauhilde - first was eaten by slugs, second was trashed by yobbos, so I'm hoping for third time lucky!

Cheers,
Rob ;)

All dwarf saddad.  My climbing french are the flat yellow beans, look like runners but are waxy.  Not sure where they came from.  Hopefully will pick some of them tomorrow.

Rob, I sowed some more last weekend, the great thing with frenchies is they don't need pollinating so will crop well later than runners.
