no picture?

If you get time could you take a photo of your full greenhouse inside.  It would be interesting to see the size of your plants now.

The Aubs are similar, but not fruiting yet.

Well - it's taken over 3 weeks to move on to this.

The ones on the right (Rosso), so good last year, haven't changed much in that time.

Took a few pics of mine this morning Tim for comparison;

The Peppers, Chillis, Tomatoes are all my own seed apart from one of the Tomatoes I put in for comparison;

Chillis; Winter Warmer;

(http://tinyurl.com/23h7re)

Chillis Habanero (syn Scots Bonnet)

(http://tinyurl.com/ysvd5o)

I find with Chillies as a general rule, the smaller the Chilli the hotter it is and this applies to the bush as well.

The Winter Warmer are around 15" high and the Habanero about 12" high and are both in 6" pots.

Sweet Pepper that I bought in a supermarket in the South of Spain last year it was huge about 6" diameter and 8" deep and as you can see here this one has the potential to being quite big. (Compare it with the leaf size)

This is the tomato I bought in the same supermarket

(http://tinyurl.com/26hkl4)

For comparison this is alongside Moneymaker

To save opening up another thread I thought you would like to see how I dry out my Onions;

(http://tinyurl.com/3yky2b)

When the mud is dry I will dress them and string them up.

Some great stuff there, TG. Yes, you mentioned your onion rack earlier. V efficient!

We don't have a chilli in sight yet.

my chillis are doing ok on small plants but i noticed my pepper plants are flowering and they must only be between 4 and 6 inches high

My banana peppers are doing the opposite to yours Tim. They are 4ft 8 ins and are just begining to set fruit. I thought that perhaps they had grown that tall so that the fruit wouldn't be touching the floor (lol) There are loads of flowers coming and going. For tall plants they are very sturdy

My California Wonder are only about 10" high and are just starting to flower. Not one pepper appeared yet.

Nice size greenhouse there Tim.

I have fruit on a Californian Wonder - and the plant is only about ten inches high. Hope the fruit don't get too big or the plant will be very top-heavy!

My peppers are 'lipstick' from real seeds - they are about 12 inches tall and have few peppers on each plant, each about 3 inches long so far. Having no frame of reference I thought this was good - how big do peppers usually get?

Still trying to find the time to put the cover on my polytunnel so I can have more room for aubergines and peppers, they are all squashed in my tiny greenhouse

Red Lipstick should get longer than that.

You can eat them now, but most peppers are nicest when fully ripe - in this case red.

My 'Lipstick' peppers are doing ok, not red yet though......

The chillies are doing better though.....'Jalapeno' fruiting well..... ;D

Ah Ha!

That's just what mine look like - I feel better now! Seems like I have plenty of peppers on each plant, just need them to get a bit bigger and redder.

No chilli or aubergines tho yet.

Since my post a few days ago, all this sun has caused my pepper plants to grow & I now have 2 peppers growing. Small but at least they have started. Do they grow as fast as courgettes once they start? ( 2nd year with peppers, Got None my first year trying.)
