Title: Green Manure
Post by: mc55 on June 11, 2007, 20:07:45
so now my garlic is lifted, I'd like to plant a green manure on the bed, but am a bit confused as to what I should plant.  Do I need to decide what will go in the bed next season ?  Last season I had roots / strawberries in the bed.

don't know about everyone else, we use phacelia, it doesn't affect the rotation..plant, grow until it flowers then chop it down and dig it in  :)

You might find this link useful - there's information about different types/time to plant etc.
