Title: Greenhouse ventilation
Post by: soozie on June 01, 2007, 14:06:03
I have a plastic greenhouse (easy build from B&Q) which I think is made by Keter however it can get overly hot (when we get the sun!). I've been trying to get some extra ventilation, louvres or vents that would be suitable and have had no luck. Can anyone help with suggestions please. Yours steamingly. Thanks.

Wish you luck - from now on, you need more ventilation than cover!!

This might sound drastic but it might work;

Cut  a hole in the side 'U'  thus!! i.e. a three sided square section

Roll up the plastic.

Tape (duck tape) a piece of mesh over the hole to prevent wildlife getting in.

When not in use or in rough weather roll the plastic down again and tape the joint.

Its a thought ???

If we have summer weather like yesterday (not sunny Southend) I won't even have to worry about it! Will have to liberate as many as possible.  Thanks anyway.
