Title: A new species of lily beetle?????
Post by: dandelion on April 28, 2007, 18:14:31
Two dead beetles, scanned at 2400dpi!

The one of the right is a regular lily beetle, but what's the one on the left ???  ? There were 2 of them, apparently mating, on a Lilium regale plant.

Think that asparagus is a member of the Liliaceae family too, so it makes some sort of sense that the bug might be present on both.
