Hi guys, and what a glorious day here in Norfolk, i was wondering if anyone out there has used Tumbleweed ( Weedkiller ) on their lotties, and then planted on the soil soon afterwards, i don't want to plant new seeds or plugs too hastily and ruin all the work, I've got a very healthy and prolific dose of couch grass >:( and i thought it was time for a chemical attack of biblical proportions. :)

Tumbleweed is rather old fashioned now and has realy been superseded by Round-up (Glyphosate).
There is no problem planting immediately as they are only active on green growth and are inactivated on contact with the soil.
I admit to cheating and used glyphosate first and then was as organic as possible.
The green does not die immediately and takes about 2 weeks.

Tumbleweed is an extra strong glyphosphate based weedkiller..So will do the job ..
Make sure your couch grass has plenty of green on before you spray it ..
Cheers ..Jim
