Title: Fitting a greenhouse that won't fit!!!!
Post by: Jeannine on April 14, 2007, 21:40:14
Well I made a boo boo. I got a freebie greenhouse last week, a lean to, thought it would be just right for the side of the shed at the lottie, perfect for my cukes.

Now what, is is a foot and a half  higher than the shed, any ideas anybody ?

Ha...ha.....ha..........ha!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could try getting John to dig a hole a foot and a half deep
and put it in that.

Ok Smartie Pants, I thought you were in Egypt or somewhere, you just behave yourself, or you gonna get  yourself in trouble.... How's your ruddy shed anyway. I'me gonna tell you know, I really am, you have been warned XXX Jeannine

John send his regards! and said tell him to bring a shovel, he's gonna jack the shed up.

Don't let it beat you, Jeanine. I would put it on the side of the shed and then fill the gap with a piece of wood or some polycabonate offcuts. I'm not very good at DIY, but I'd get it to work one way or another!

A polycarbonate sheet cut to size will easily stick to the greenhouse with some waterproof silicone sealant. Once you have the sheet of plastic it is a 10 minute job......

Do you mean put a whole side on it,well a back really with the plastic, would that not be very expensive? I guess it is meant to go on a wall or the side of a house,it looks like half a greenhouse actually. XX Jeannine

No. Just a sheet large enough to fit the gap at the top.
