Title: Brussels
Post by: Si on December 13, 2006, 06:41:00
My brussels were planted very late and are all under a foot tall. Should I leave them in the ground to hope for sprouts next year?

If you don't need the ground, I'd mulch to suppress weeds and leave them in. There are still three cold months ahead of us, you might be glad of the tops at the very least ;D

You don't say when you sowed or planted, but they take about 4 months minimum to mature. Hope this helps.

I'll leave them in. Thanks for the advice.
I have no idea when they were sown because they were a gift off a friend and were left in their seed trays till August.
