Title: What to plant after my New Spuds?
Post by: nolnol on April 21, 2004, 12:06:01
I know I am getting ahead of myself, but what should I plant in the space cleared when I lift my new spuds? Any ideas?

Spring greens - sprouting brocolli

Lettuce, radish & spring onions

If you still have space left over a green manure such as Phacelia will quickly cover the ground to prevent weeds taking hold and overwinter to prevent leeching of nutrients
